By this petition, the petitioners have challenged the judgment and order dated 16/09/1999 rendered by the Presiding Officer, University & College Tribunal, Aurangabad, in Miscellaneous Application No. 7/1999. By the impugned order, the learned Tribunal had held the petitioners guilty of contempt under Section 63 of the Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994, for non-compliance with an interim order and sentenced to pay a fine of Rs. 1,000/- each. 3. Mr. Warma, the learned counsel for the petitioners, submits that the interim grievance has worked out itself since the main appeal before the Tribunal already stands finally disposed of. The learned counsel further 2026:BHC-AUG:42107 W.P.No.5518/1999 :: 2 :: submitted that to show bona fides, the petitioners have complied with the directions of this Court by depositing the requisite amount. The learned counsel has placed on record a receipt indicating the deposit of Rs. 1,000/-. The said receipt is taken on record. 4. In view of the compliance made by the petitioners and the subsequent development, this Court deems it appropriate to give a quietus to the dispute. Consequently, the impugned judgment and order dated 16/09/1999 rendered by the University & College Tribunal, Aurangabad in Misc. Application No. 7/1999 is set aside. 5.
