JUSTICE HARISH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 23-02-2026 The present writ petition has been filed by Mr. Binod Kumar Singh, for seeking the following reliefs:- " (i) For directing the Respondents forthwith to take necessary steps for the widening/extension of Navratan Kunwar Ghat at Village Chamuchak towards the west to the extent of approximately 100 (one hundred) metres and to prepare and place before this Court a time-bound action plan, including the cost-estimate, mode of procurement and mode of execution of the work within a period to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court. (ii) For directing the Respondents to Patna High Court CWJC No.1998 of 2026 dt.23-02-2026 2/2 identify and allocate funds immediately for the said work from any of the available heads including but not limited to the Chief Minister Area Development Scheme (CMADS), MLA/MP local area development fund, Zila Parishad funds, Water Resources Department Budget or any other available public head and to commence works without further delay. (iii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions for which the petitioner is found entitled to. 2. After perusing the materials on record, we find that there is no material to treat the present matter as a Public Interest Litigation. 3.
