On 23.03.2026 the following order was passed : “On 03.09.2024 the following order was passed : “As per office report, notices issued to both the petitioners have been received back with the report that they have expired. Mr. Khubbar appears and seeks time to file Vakalatnama alongwith application to implead the LRs of the petitioners. To come up on 04.02.2025.” Till date neither the vakalatnama nor any application for impleading the legal representatives of the petitioners has JITENDER KUMAR 2026.05.14 09:24 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment Chandigarh CWP-14110-1998 -2- been filed. Today, some more time is sought by learned counsel for the petitioners to do the needful. Though no ground is made out to further adjourn the case, however, in the interest of justice, adjourned to 13.05.2026 subject to payment of ₹10,000/- as costs to be deposited with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Employees Welfare Association, A/c No.37167209613, IFSC Code SBIN0050306, State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Chandigarh.” 2. Till date there has been no compliance of order dated 23.03.2026 and the costs as imposed have also not been deposited. Today none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioners. 3. In view of the above, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present petition for non-prosecution. 4. Dismissed for non-prosecution. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed off.
