(Oral) 1. Mr. Satbir Singh, Daroga (Forest Department); Mr. Ramesh Kumar, Legal Assistant (Forest Department); Mr. R.K. Chauhan, S.D.E. (PWD Department); and Mr. Kamal Kumar, S.D.C. (PWD Department), present in person, have placed on record a copy of the award dated 03.09.2010, passed by the Land Acquisition Collector, PWD (B&R), Haryana, Ambala Cantt. They submit that in the present case, the dispute -1- SHUBHAM 2026.01.15 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document/order RSA-959-1998(O&M) pertains to kikar trees, and further, that the land in question already stands acquired, and compensation has been granted to the respondents. 2. As per the award, the land in dispute was acquired by the department during the construction of the road in the year 1970, and the landowner was granted ₹3,99,004/- as compensation for use of the land for the period from 1970 to 2009. The said compensation is payable to Shri Paramjit Singh @ Mange Ram, son of Jai Singh, the landowner (legal representative of Ram Diya). 3. Learned counsel for the respondents endorses the submissions made by the aforesaid officials. 4. In light of the above, the present regular second appeal stands dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. 5. Pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of accordingly.
