CORAM:
HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL **** Present: Ms. Naresh Prabhakar, Advocate,
for the appellant. Mr. Sukhpal Singh, Advocate, for respondent No.1. **** AMARINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (Oral)
1.
Learned counsel for the appellant as well as for the respondents jointly submit that both the parties have expired and, despite repeated efforts, they have been unable to establish contact with their legal representatives. Even today, learned counsel express their inability to proceed further in the matter, as they continue to have no instructions or communication in this regard.
2. It, therefore, appears that the appellant is not interested in prosecuting the present appeal.
3. In the aforesaid circumstances, it is evident that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present appeal pending on the docket for an indefinite period. -1- KANCHAN 2026.03.27 14:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this
order/judgment
4. Accordingly, the present appeal is dismissed in default for want of prosecution.
5. However, liberty is granted to the appellant to seek revival of the appeal in accordance with law, in case any worthwhile cause survives for consideration.
6. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
