Vide order dated 19.05.2026, this Court had sought for a report from the learned State counsel to obtain instruction regarding the whereabouts and wellbeing of the appellant as well as the accused- respondents. 2. Pursuant to the aforementioned order, learned counsel for the State has placed on record the report dated 22.07.2026 received from the IIC, Lalbag P.S., Cuttack, UPD. The said report indicates that the respondent No.1- Harikishan Goenka has expired since 17.09.2007 and respondent No.2- Govind Choudhury has expired since 04.09.2020. The Death Certificates of the above respondents are also placed on record. The said report and the Death Certificates are taken on record. Subhasis 3.
