Further, seeking direction to the respondents to shift the promotion of respondent No.4 from reserved point to the general point as per her own seniority-cum-merit and the resultant point be filled from the petitioner who is the next eligible candidate in the SC category and grant him promotion on the post of Assistant Statistician/Field Officer from the due date with all consequential benefits. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been assured by the department for considering his case for promotion to the post of Assistant Statistician/Field Officer and, therefore, he wishes to withdraw the present petition at this stage. 3.
