On 04.01.1993, the accused came to the Branch Office of the complainant and requested to dispatch the stocks. Accordingly, the stocks were despatched and the accused issued a cheque for Rs.20,359.73 to the State Bank of India, Industrial Estate Branch, Cuttack. The complainant-WIPRO has filed the filed the complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act against the respondent. 4. None appears for the appellant/complainant.
