This bail application has been filed by the petitioner namely, Moniruz Zaman under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, seeking regular bail in connection with Sorbhog P.S. Case No. 69/2026, registered under Sections 304(2)/ 318(3)/ 319(2) of the BNS, 2023. Page No.# 2/2 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner snatched away a flipkart parcel (Digital Camera) from the delivery personnel near Ganesh Mandir, Guwahati. 4. Case diary as called for has not been received. 5. The accused was arrested and produced before the Magistrate on 18.06.2026. By now, the petitioner has spent 39 days in custody and the article has also been recovered from him as stated in the forwarding report. 6. Having regard to the above, further detention may not be necessary. 7. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is allowed. The petitioner named above shall be released on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) only with two sureties of the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Eleka Magistrate in connection with the aforementioned case. 8. It is further provided that: (i) the petitioner shall cooperate with the trial of the case regularly and he shall not try to contact the informant side ; (ii) the petitioner shall not try to influence or intimidate any person or the remaining witnesses, who are acquainted with the facts of the case, in any manner. 9.
