Respondents PRAYER: civil revision petition filed under article 227 of the Constitution of India to direct the Principal District Court, Pudukkottai to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.169 of 2022 on the file of the Principal District Court, Pudukkottai within a stipulated time frame as may be prescribed by this court. For Petitioner : M/s P.Rathina Prabhavathi 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis C.R.P(MD)No.1984 of 2026 ORDER The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to the trial Court to dispose of the main suit within a stipulated time frame. 2.The first respondent herein filed a suit for partition against the petitioner and the other respondents in O.S. No.169 of 2022 on the file of the Principal District Court, Pudukkottai. 3.A perusal of the case status filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the pleadings of the parties were completed as early as 31.07.2025 and the suit was posted for framing of issues on 19.08.2025. Thereafter, the first defendant in the suit died and, therefore, the suit has been adjourned for taking steps to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased first defendant. Thereafter, there is no further progress in the suit for the past several months. 4.Taking into consideration the fact that the pleadings of the parties have already been completed, this Court is inclined to direct the trial Court to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible.
