A R TAHBILDAR Advocate for : DY.S.G.I. appearing for THE UNION OF INDIA ANND 7 ORS BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 15.06.2026 Heard Mr. A.R Tahbildar, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. S Baruah, learned CGC for the respondents. This interlocutory application has been filed praying for correction of the order passed by this Court vide order dated 01.06.2026 passed in W.P.(C) No. 629/2026. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that in the said order dated 01.06.2026, it was recorded in Paragraphs 8 and 11 of the writ petition, the Page No.# 5/5 date of issuance of the OBC(NCL) Certificate has been wrongly recorded as 14.10.2024 instead of 25.04.2025 and in Paragraph 11, it has been recorded that medical examination of the petitioner has already been done, whereas the correct factual position is that medical examination is yet to be conducted and shall be carried out after completion of document verification. The said submission is not disputed by the learned counsel for the respondents. Accordingly, this I.A. stands disposed of. The order dated 01.06.2026 passed in W.P.(C) No. 629/2026 stands corrected to the extent that the date of issuance of the OBC (NCL) Certificate shall be read as 25.04.2025 in place of the date erroneously recorded in paragraphs 8 and 11. It is further clarified that, as stated in paragraph 11, the medical examination is yet to be carried out. In the event the petitioner is found eligible under the OBC category and is declared medically fit upon completion of the medical examination, consequential orders regarding the issuance of the appointment order to the petitioner shall be passed in accordance with law. These typographical errors had crept in while this order was passed. Consequently, the same stands corrected by the order passed today. This order shall be read together with the order dated 01.06.2026 passed in W.P(C) No. 629/2026. Accordingly, the I.A stands allowed and disposed of. A copy of this order be retained in the case record of W.P(C) No. 629/2026. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
