He filed appeal against said
judgment/order of conviction/sentence. While suspending the sentence of the petitioner, the Learned Appellate Court, vide order dated 01.12.2008, recorded that the petitioner has paid the fine. His such appeal was however dismissed on
30.04.2010. Aggrieved, he filed the present revision.

Today, Mr.Raghav Garg, AAG, Punjab has filed a short reply by way of affidavit of Shri Davinder Singh, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub-Division Tanda, District Hoshiarpur, as per which petitioner expired in the year 2017.

In view of such short reply, since petitioner had already paid the imposed fine, sentence of imprisonment awarded to him stands abated and in turn, present revision petition also. It is accordingly disposed of as abated.
