Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H. Gupta, learned Central Government Counsel [CGC] for the respondent NF Railway authorities. Mr. Pathak, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the writ petition is preferred assailing a Notice dated 25.03.2026 giving 48 hours notice in terms of Clause 62 of the Standard General Conditions of Contract to commence work. He has submitted that after filing of the writ petition, an order of termination has been made in the meantime on 30.03.2026. Mr. Pathak has submitted that in view of the termination notice, the petitioner would have to seek appropriate remedy against the order of termination and this writ petition is to be closed in order to enable the petitioner to avail appropriate remedy under the law. Mr. Gupta, learned CGC has submitted that he has no objection to the above submission.
