Without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 13.07.2026 seeking police protection from respondents 3 to 7 herein, after issuing notice to the counter-parties, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. It is made clear that if any cognizable offence is made out against respondents 3 to 7, the 2nd respondent is directed to register an FIR and proceed in accordance with law. Further, respondents 2 to 7 are at liberty to submit a Civil Court decree or any other relevant documents during the enquiry. 3. With the above observations, this writ Petition is disposed of.
