Through this Writ Petition, the Petitioner prays for the following relief : (i) Issue a Writ of Certiorari for quashing of letter dated September 2024 whereby Respondents rejected the Petitioner's pension proposal on grounds of disability; and (ii) Issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to thereby grant him with disability pension and all consequential benefits as per rules; and iii) Pass any such orders as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit in the light of above mentioned facts and circumstances of the case.” 3. Today, learned counsel representing the Respondent has produced the Order dated 24.04.2026, wherein sanction of the Competent Authority has been conveyed for grant of Ex Gratia Lumpsum of ₹5,60,000/- to the Petitioner for his 28% permanent This is a digitally signed order.
