No.7268 of 2025. 2. By aforesaid order, the writ petition came to be disposed of directing respondents 3 and 4 therein to consider representation dated 29.01.2025 submitted by petitioner seeking compassionate appointment in terms of her eligibility. 3. Smt.A.Jayanthi, learned counsel appearing for respondent, on last occasion, had placed on record proceedings dated 20.04.2026, which inter alia considered the writ petitioner to be accommodated as Junior Assistant on compassionate grounds 2 CGR, J C.C. No.1964 of 2025 and further, even the 3rd wife of deceased employee was also offered monetary benefits in terms of the internal agreement arrived at between both the petitioner and 3rd wife. Further, on 19.06.2026, she has also placed on record letter dated 29.05.2026 addressed by the District Collector, YSR Kadapa District, to Commandant, XI Battalion, APSP, Bhakarapet, Kadapa, to furnish necessary documents for the purpose of processing the request of writ petitioner for compassionate appointment and in turn, by memo dated 08.06.2026, writ petitioner was called upon to furnish the same. 4. Mr.G.Vijay Kumar, learned counsel appearing for petitioner, states that the writ petitioner is in the process of securing and submitting the documents as indicated in aforesaid memo dated 08.06.2026 and that even writ petitioner has been following up the issue with the District Collector. Since respondents are acting on the directions issued by this Court and as well the petitioner has already been in principle approved for compassionate appointment, this Court expects that the issue would be taken to logical end soon. 5. With the aforesaid observation, this contempt case stands closed. No costs. 3 CGR, J C.C. No.1964 of 2025 As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending in this case, if any, shall stand closed.
