Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been convicted and sentenced vide order dated 26.03.2025 by the ed Additional Sessions Judge, Moga in FIR No.158 dated 28.07.2023 registered under Sections 376 and 506 of IPC and Sections 4 and POCSO Act, 2012 at Police Station Dharamkot, District Moga to rigorous imprisonment for a period of 20 years and Rs.50,000/-. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had already applied for parole before respondent No.4.
