Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is confining the present writ petition to the relief for her consideration for promotion to the position of Anganwadi Worker for Anganwadi Centre, Umar Colony, Ladoora, where she has been working as Anganwadi Helper from the year 2015. Statement of learned counsel for the petitioner is taken on record and the writ petition is confined to the aforesaid prayer only.

The respondents in para 08 of their reply to the writ petition have submitted that keeping in view the Doctrine of Legitimate Expectation and Natural Justice, it has been decided that the Anganwadi Helpers who have rendered 10 years or more service and have qualification of 12th pass, their claims would be considered for the post of Anganwadi Worker, provided that the candidate belongs to the same Electoral Ward.
3. In view of the aforesaid decision of the respondents, the writ petition is
disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of
the petitioner for her promotion to the position of Anganwadi Worker for Anganwadi Centre, Umar Colony, Ladoora, provided there is any vacancy, with a further caveat that the petitioner is eligible in all respects for the promotion.
