JUSTICE WASIM SADIQ NARGAL, JUDGE ORDER 03.07.2026 After arguing for a while, when confronted with the maintainability of the instant petition, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks withdrawal of the instant petition unconditionally, with liberty to seek appropriate remedy under law. His statement is taken on record. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn along with connected application(s), with liberty as prayed for. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner intends to approach the superior authority, i.e., the Deputy Commissioner, by way of a representation with regard to the grievances projected in the instant petition, particularly the allegation that the concerned Tehsildar has failed to take any action on the application preferred by the petitioner way back in 2023 for attestation of the mutation. Learned counsel further undertakes that the said representation shall be filed within one week. Sr. No. 180 2 | P a g e WP(C) No. 1953/2026 In the event such representation is filed within the aforesaid period, the Deputy Commissioner shall accord due consideration to the same, strictly under rules and as per law, and pass an appropriate decision thereon within a period of three weeks thereafter. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the petitioner through registered post. It is, however, made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case, and the representation shall be considered by the appropriate authority strictly in accordance with law.
