IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK ABLAPL No.1948 of 2026 Pradyumna Mishra …. Petitioner Mr. P.S. Das, Advocate -Versus- State of Odisha …. Opposite Party Mr. S.K. Das, ASC CORAM: MR. JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 21.04.2026 I.A. No.608 of 2026 02. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Instant I.A. is filed seeking waiver of the condition with the modification of the order in ABLAPL dated 7th April, 2026 for the reason stated. 3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been entangled with other criminal cases with similar offences, therefore, it is difficult for him to attend the P.S. once in a fortnight, as has been directed by this Court while disposing of the ABLAPL. 4. Recorded the objection of the State. 5. Considering the plea of the petitioner and since other conditions have been imposed by this Court, the condition with regard to personal appearance at the P.S. once in a fortnight should be exempted as it likely to cause immense difficulty for him to comply for having other antecedents. 6. I.A. is allowed exempting the petitioner from the said condition modifying the order in ABLAPL No.1948 of 2026 dated 7th April, 2026 to the extent as above. 7. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules. (R.K. Pattanaik) Judge Alok
