Ajay Mohan Goel, Judge (Oral) Mr. Balram Sharma, learned Deputy Solicitor General of India submits that in light of the prayer made in the petition as also with the passage of time the petition now stands rendered infructuous. He also submits that the posts have already been filled up and none of the appointed persons is a party in the present petition. 2 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as Annexure P-5 was in violation of Annexure P-4, therefore, necessary directions have to be passed to the authorities to ensure that in future recruitment is undertaken strictly in terms with the instructions of the Central Government. 3. This Court is of the considered view that as the petition has now lost its efficacy, it would be in the interest of justice, in case, the same is closed but with the observation that the legal issues raised in the petition are kept open. Ordered accordingly. 4. Petition stands closed without adjudication on merit, but the issues raised in the petition are kept open for future adjudication, in case, the need so arises.
