1. By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Cr.P.C), the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 235/2022 dated 02.06.2022, PS.: Fatehpur Beri, Delhi registered under Sections 304A/287 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, (IPC) and all proceedings emanating therefrom, in view of the Compromise Deed dated 02.06.2022 [Annexure B] arrived at between the petitioner and the respondent nos.2 and 3, which is accompanied by their respective proofs of identities. 3. Respondent no.3, the complainant and the co-worker of the deceased, is present in Court and respondent no.2, the mother of the deceased, has joined the proceedings through video conferencing. They affirm the terms of the Compromise Deed dated 02.06.2022.
4. On a specific query, respondent no.2 admits that she has already received a sum of Rs.17,00,000/- as per the terms of the compromise as recorded in the order dated 12.02.2025. As such, neither of the respondents have no objection if the present petition is allowed and the involved FIR is quashed.
5. The petitioner and the respondent nos.2 and 3, present in Court, as well as their credentials, as on record, have been identified by the Investigating Officer.
6.
Facts disclose that a settlement has already been arrived voluntarily between the parties and the present petition is accompanied by their respective affidavit(s). In view thereof, the parties shall remain bound by all the terms and conditions of the settlement arrived inter se themselves. As such, following the law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Jitendra Raghuvanshi & Ors. vs. Babita Raguvanshi & Anr. (2013) 4 SCC 58, Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab & Anr. (2012) 10 SCC 303 and Narinder Singh & Ors. vs. State of Punjab & Anr. (2014) 6 SCC 466, since there is nothing left to corroborate and prove the case of the prosecution, continuation of the aforesaid FIR against the petitioner will be an exercise in futility.
7. Resultantly, in view of the assertions made in the Status Report as This is a digitally signed order. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. The Order is downloaded from the DHC Server on 25/03/2026 at 13:41:22

8. Accordingly, the present petition, along with pending applications, if any, is disposed of.
