Applicant seeks regular bail in case FIR No. 0191/2017 dated 20.04.2017 registered at Police Station Maurya Enclave for commission of offences under Sections 186/332/353/307/379/511/34 IPC. 2. Aforesaid case was registered in the year 2017. 3. Briefly stated, as per the case of prosecution, constable Sombir was returning home on 20.04.2017, when he saw two persons attempting to steal a car near the main gate of District Park, Pitam Pura, Delhi. He attempted to apprehend them. The accused person retaliated by pelting stones upon police party and tried to flee away. Fact, however, remains that as far as applicant is concerned, he was apprehended at the spot. His co-accused was This is a digitally signed order. Thereafter, since he stopped appearing before the learned Trial Court, proclamation proceedings were initiated against him and he was declared proclaimed offender on 07.11.2023. 6. Trial is underway. 7. It is also admitted fact that he was, subsequently, re-arrested on 08.01.2025 and is in custody since then. 8. He is having various other involvements and when he prayed for his re-admission on bail, his such application has been dismissed by the learned Trial Court on 27.02.2026. 9. It is in the aforesaid backdrop that the present application has been filed. 10. Learned Addl. P.P. for State does not dispute the broad facts. He also does admit that earlier the applicant had been granted bail on merits. 11. Out of 20 cited prosecution witnesses, only three have so far entered into witness-box. 12. Bail has been, primarily, denied for the reason that he had been earlier declared proclaimed offender and is having other involvements. 13. Keeping in mind the factual matrix of the case, the fact that earlier the applicant had been released on bail on merits, and period of custody, applicant is admitted to bail on his furnishing personal bond and surety bond in a sum of Rs. 25,000/- each subject to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court/ Chief Judicial Magistrate/Duty Judicial Magistrate First Class with the following conditions:- (i) Surety would be local. The application stands allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 15.
