Learned counsel for the respondent as also the respondent, who are present in Court today, assure and undertake that arrears of payment directed to be paid vide Paragraph 6 of this Court’s order dated 19.05.2025, shall be deposited latest within a period of 2 weeks from today. The said undertaking is taken on record. 2. According to the petitioner, the arrears are to the tune of Rs.19,25,000/- whereas, according to the respondent, the arrears are to the tune of Rs.18,00,000/-. 3. Let the calculation of arrears be supplied by the petitioner to the respondent within a period of ten days from today. In case the respondent fails to make the aforesaid deposit, the said conduct shall be construed as a wilful and egregious contempt of the orders passed by this Court and entail severe action against the respondent. 4. The application avers that for the purpose of compliance with the directions in the order dated 19.01.2026 and to make the deposit towards arrears of maintenance payable to the petitioner, the respondent got prepared a bank draft dated 02.02.2026 for Rs.18,65,000/-, having DD No.025066, in favour of the Registrar General, Delhi High Court, drawn on Axis Bank Ltd. 2. The respondent is directed to deposit the said bank draft with the registry of this Court. 3. The manner in which the respondent has calculated the said amount, shall be considered on the next date of hearing. 4. The application is disposed of in the above terms. 5. Copy of order be given dasti under the signatures of Court Master.” 3. Learned counsel for the respondent seeks that the deposit of the amount of Rs. 18,65,000/, as recorded in the aforesaid orders, be made subject to the outcome of the appellate proceedings initiated by the respondent against the order dated 24.04.2023 passed in CT No. 4392/2019. 4. As a matter of fact, even the petitioner has also filed an appeal against the said order dated 24.04.2023. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes, on instructions, that the petitioner shall return/restitute any part of the aforesaid amount, if so required in terms of any orders that may be passed by the appellate authority. The said undertaking is taken on record. 6. In the circumstances, subject to the outcome of the aforesaid appellate proceedings, and subject to the aforesaid undertaking/s, let the aforesaid amount of Rs.18,65,000/- (alongwith accrued interest) be released to the petitioner. 7.
