Also heard Shri BJ Talukdar, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate assisted by Shri PK Medhi, learned counsel for the State respondents. 2. The writ petition was instituted with the following prayer: “It is therefore most respectfully prayed that Your Lordship may graciously be pleased to admit this petition, call for the records, issue notice and prays for issuance of Writ in the nature of mandamas directing the Respondents to immediately register the case filed by the Petitioner and also furnish details of the earlier FIR's, for the issuance of just and appropriate direction(s)/order(s) and for just and proper direction for investigation into the powers vested with the Respondents and the exercise of the same within the purview of law, for issuance of a appropriate Writ, order or direction, to the above mentioned Respondents, not to harass the petitioner unnecessarily, for any other consequential relief or reliefs to which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case during the course of hearing of the instant writ petition and/or pass any other order or orders as Your Lorship may deem fit and proper.” 3. Shri Talukdar, learned State Counsel has submitted that Ejahar has indeed been registered as Doboka PS Case No. 146/2024 and investigation is still on. 4. In view of the development, this Court is of the opinion that the primary Page No.# 3/3 grievance of the petitioner is redressed. 5. This Court has observed that the investigation has not been completed in spite of elapse of a considerable length of time.
