The brief facts of the case are that appellant owns a land in R.S.No.213/1A1; private respondents have laid water pipelines running through the aforesaid land, without there being any permission from the authorities and without paying any track rent; the authorities had conducted inspection and found that there is no illegality in laying of pipelines; aggrieved by the installation of water pipelines through his land, appellant filed writ petition. 3. It is settled position that the Writ Court or Appellate Court cannot go into the disputed questions of fact and exercise __________ https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.A.No.1921 of 2026 jurisdiction under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Thus, the learned Single Judge has granted liberty to appellant to approach the competent civil Court. 4. We find no error in the order of the learned Single Judge. Therefore, the writ appeal is dismissed. Appellant is at liberty to avail appropriate remedy, in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
