The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the instant contempt application has been filed for initiating a proceeding of contempt against the contemnor opposite party nos. 4 and 5 for their willful disobedience of the order dated 12.05.2026 in CWJC No.5074 of 2026. 3. At this stage, the learned AC to SC-18 submits that Patna High Court MJC No.1915 of 2026(3) dt.17-08-2026 2/2 a show-cause on behalf of opposite party nos.4 and 5 has been filed and from perusal of the Annexure-R/B to the show-cause, it would manifest that the District Magistrate, Muzaffarpur has passed a reasoned order dated 07.08.2026, whereby the claim of the petitioner for possessing third firearm has been rejected, on which the petitioner in person submits that no doubt, order dated 07.08.2026 has been passed by the Collector, Muzaffarpur rejecting his claim, but then the case has not been adjudicated in its correct perspective, but then seeks permission to withdraw the contempt application with liberty to assail the order dated 07.08.2026 passed by the Collector, Muzaffarpur in compliance of the order dated 12.05.2026 in CWJC No.5074 of 2026. 4.
