This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 whereby the petitioner, Sri Rabijit Hajong has prayed for releasing him on bail after he was arrested in connection with Kaki P.S. Case No.29/2026 registered under Sections 78(2)/351(2)/79 of BNS, 2023 read with Section 12 of POCSO, read with Section 66(E)/67(A) of IT Act. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner obtained photographs of the minor daughter of the informant and threatened her with dire consequences. The nude photographs were made viral on social media. 4. The learned Addl. P.P submits that the investigation is not yet completed. 5. The petitioner was arrested on 05.06.2026 and he has spent 60 days in custody and the necessary period of detention in respect of a registered offence is of 60 days. 6. Having regard to the above, as well as the period of detention undergone by the petitioner, prayer for bail is allowed. Accordingly, it is directed that the petitioner is released on bail bond of ₹50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand) only with two sureties of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Eleka Magistrate/Jurisdictional Court in connection with Kaki P.S.
