By way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, the petitioners, who are the parents-in-law and brother-in-law of the complainant in FIR No. 449/2025, dated 27.07.2025, registered at Police Station Begum Pur, Rohini, Delhi, under Sections 85/316(2)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, seek partial quashing of the said FIR qua them. 2. Ms. Sunita Khorwal, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that, despite the FIR having been registered almost one year ago, the final report has not been filed. Khatri, learned Additional Standing Counsel, who appears on advance notice, states, upon instructions, that the final report will be filed before the Trial Court within two weeks from today. 4. In view of the above submission, Ms. Khorwal does not wish to press this petition at this stage, but reserves all rights and contentions available to the petitioners at the stage of arguments on charge, including the remedy of discharge. 5. The petition is disposed of in terms of the above submissions. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not issued notice to the complainant, and the above submissions are recorded without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, including the complainant before the Trial Court.
