At the outset, the petitioners made oral request to delete the name of petitioner no.2 from the array of the petitioners. It is also pointed out that he was unmarried and there are no surviving legal heirs of petitioner no.2. 2. In the circumstances, the oral request is granted. The petitioners are permitted to delete the name of petitioner no.2 from the array of the petitioners. The amendment be carried out forthwith. 3. Both the counsels have pointed out that this court has referred the matter for mediation. Accordingly, the learned Mediator has submitted the report on 17.08.2026 stating that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and they have entered into the terms of settlement. So also the copy of settlement-deed is also filed along with the report. The same is taken on record and marked “X” for identification. 4. The perusal of the settlement-deed shows that the same is signed by all the parties along with their counsels.
