“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner (Annexure P-4) and issue the corrected mark sheet within stipulated period. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deem fit. 10.3 Cost of the petition may also be awarded.” NARESH KUMAR KAMDE Digitally signed by NARESH KUMAR KAMDE Date: 2026.02.05 10:30:12 +0530

2. According to the petitioner, he has participated in the examination of Chhattisgarh State Eligibility Test, 2019 in the subject of “Physical Education”, conducted on 08/09/2019, but at the time of submitting the application form, he put the OBC column as (Creamy Layer) inadvertently, due to bonafide mistake, instead of mentioning (Non Creamy Layer) and the said fact was detected after the issuance of the result. It is contended by counsel appearing for the petitioner that though the petitioner had moved an application for its correction before the respondent on 30/06/2020, however, the same has not been decided till date and, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, therefore, submits that the concerned respondent-authority be directed to decide the said application. 3. In view of the aforesaid limited prayer of counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Court feels that no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending as it can be disposed of at this stage. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent-authority to take an appropriate action on the said application dated 30/06/2020 as early as possible. 4. It is made clear that this Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the said application which will be considered on its own merits by the concerned authorities in accordance with law.
5. With the aforesaid observation, the instant petition stands disposed of. Sd/-
