(2) If any member or associate member acquires any such share or interest he shall cease to be a member of the Zilla Parishad with effect from such date as the State Government may specify. (3) if a member acts as a lawyer against the Zilla Parishad in any legal proceedings to which the Zilla Parishad is a party he shall cease to be a member of the Zilla Parishad with effect from such date as the State Government may specify. (4) The State Government may, after giving an oppor- tunity to a member or an associate member to show cause against the action proposed to be taken against him, by an order in writing, remove him from office-- (a) on the grounds of misconduct in the discharge of his duties; or (b) if he refuses to act or becomes incapable of acting as such member; or (c) if after he becomes a member he is convicted by a court of an offence involving moral turpitude punishable with imprisonment for a period of more than six months; or (d) if he is absent from six consecutive meetings of the Zilla Parishad without sufficient cause; or (e) if he is in arrears for more than one year in respect of any tax, rate or fee payable under this Act or West Ben. the West Bengal Panchayat Act, 1957; or , Act I of
