(1) When an order of supersession has been passed under section 108 then with effect from the date of the order— (a) all the members and associate members of the Zilla Perished or the Anchalik Perished, as the case may be, and all the members of the Standing Committee thereof shall vacate their offices; (b) all the powers, duties and functions which, under the provisions of this Act or any rule, bye-law or regulation made thereunder or any law for the time being in force, may be exercised, discharged or performed by the Zilla Perished or the Anchalik Perished or any Standing Committee thereof, shall be exercised, discharged or performed by such person, to be called the Administrator, as may be appointed by the State Government in this behalf : it Provided that such Administrator may delegate any of his powers, duties or functions to any officer or other employee of the Zilla Perished or: the Anchalik Parishad, as the case may be. (2) The State Government shall fix the remuneration of the Administrator and may direct that such remuneration shall be paid from the Zilla Perished Fund or the Anchalik Parishad Fund, as the case may be. (3) All property vested in such Zilla Perished or Anchalik Perished, as the case may be, shall vest in the State Govern- ment during the period of supersession. (4) The State Government may by order to be published in the Official Gazette re-establish the Zilla. Parishad or the Anchalik Perished, as the case may be. (5) On the expiry of the period of supersession the Administrator shall cease to exercise his functions. (6) Nothing contained in the foregoing provisions of this section shall affect the provisions Of section 38 and the District School Board shall continue to function as the Primary Education Committee of the Zilla Perished.
