A Warehouse Authority may, at any time during business hours, inspect or examine or cause to be inspected or examined, by any officer authorised by it, any licensed warehouse, its machinery and equipment, goods deposited therein, or the accounts, books or records referred to in section 17, for the purpose of satisfying itself that the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder are being complied with.
