(1) The Board shall function through an Executive Council set up by it. (2) The Executive Council set up under sub-section (1) shall consist of — (a) a Chairperson to be nominated by the Board ; (b) an Officer of the State Government not below the rank of Joint Secretary to that Government as Chief Executive Officer of the Board who shall be the Member-Secretary of the Executive Council ; (c) a person to be nominated by the Board having expertise in Banking transactions ; and (d) a person to be nominated by the Board having expertise in audit and accounts.
