(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Unorganised Sector Workers and commence- Welfare Act, 2007. ment . (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint, provided, however, that different dates may be appointed for different provisions of this Act and for different employments mentioned in the Schedule appended to this Act.
