(1) The Chancellor shall, at least once in every ten years, constitute a Commission to review the function of the University and to make recommendations in this behalf: Provided that the first review Commission shall be constituted after three years from the date of establishment of the University. (2) The Commission shall consist of not less than three eminent educationists, one of whom shall be the Chairman of such Commission appointed by. the Chancellor in consultation with the State Government. (3) The terms and conditions of appointment of the members of the Commission shall be such as the Chancellor may determine. PART III] THE KOLKATA GAZETTE. (4) The Commission shall, after making such enquiry as it deems fit, make its recommendation to the Chancellor.
