THE UNIVERSITY OF CALCUTTA (MATRICULATION EXAMINATION) ACT, 1951. [Passed by the West Bengal Legislature.] [Assent of the Governor was first published in the Calcutta Gazette, Extra- ordinary, of the 2nd November, 1951.] An Act to provide for the discontinuance of the Matriculation Examination of the University of Calcutta. WHEREAS it is expedient that with effect from the year 1952 the University of Calcutta shall not hold the Matricula- tion Examination or any examination equivalent thereto; It is hereby enacted as follows :-
