The revised pay scales will be applicable to all teachers who were in position on 1st January 1973 and also to those who were appointed according to the approved rules of recruitment against posts (i) which were vacant on 1st January 1973 but filled up later and (ii) which were created after 1st January 1973 with the approval of the competent authority.
