(1) Every permission for any development granted under this Act shall remain in force for a period of one year from the date of such permission. (2) The concerned authority may, on application made in this behalf before the expiry of the aforesaid period, extend the same for such times as it may think proper, but the total period shall in no case exceed three years. (3) If any permission lapses under sub-section (1) or (2), such lapse shall not bar any subsequent application for fresh permission under this Act.
