(1) The term of office and terms and conditions of service of the Chairman and other members of a Planning Authority or a Development Authority not being a local or statutory authority, shall be such as may be prescribed. (2) Any vacancy occurring in the office of the Chainnan or any other member of an Authority referred to in sub-section (3) of section 11 shall be filled by fresh appointment by the State Government.
