(1) The Board of Governors of the University shall consist of the following members, namely:— (i) the Chancellor shall be the Chairman of the Board; (ii) two representatives of the trust; (iii) Vice-Chancellor of the University; (iv) two Deans of the University, by rotation, to be nominated by the Vice- Chancellor; (v) Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Higher Education Department, or his nominee; (vi) three expert academicians to be nominated by the Chancellor; (vii) three experts representing other disciplines such as finance, legal, management, humanities to be nominated by the Chancellor; (viii) two representatives of the industries to be nominated by the Chancellor; and (ix) Administrator of the University.
