(1) The State Government may, by notification, constitute a Special Economic Zone Development Authority for every Special Economic Zone, as it may deem fit and proper, to exercise the powers conferred on, and the functions assigned to it under this Act and the rules framed thereunder. (2) The authority shall be a body corporate by the name notified under sub-section (1), having perpetual succession and a common seal and by the said name, may sue and be sued.
