- S. 1(1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Special Courts Act, 1950
- S. 2In this Act unless there is anything repugnant in Dofini- the subject or context,—
- S. 3Section empowers the State Government to establish Special Courts for criminal cases in specified areas.
- S. 4The West Bengal Special Courts Act, 1950 allows the State Government to appoint qualified High Court or Sessions Judges as Special Judges for Special Courts.
- S. 5Section 5 empowers the State Government to designate specific offences for trial by Special Courts.
