Notwithstanding the suspension of any law in force in a slum area by reason of the provisions of section 22, any- thing done, action taken or work undertaken under any such .law shall, if it is not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, continue to be done, taken or undertaken, as the case may be, as if that area had not been declared under this Act to be a slum area.
