(1) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor with the approval of the Governing Board for a term of five years and shall be eligible for re-appointment on such terms and conditions as may be provided in the Statutes. (2) The qualification for appointment of Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be provided by Statutes. (3) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be provided for by the Statutes.
