(1) If the State Government is at any time of opinion that any regulation or bye-law made by the Corporation should be cancelled or modified either wholly or in part, it shall cause the reasons for such opinion to be communicated, to the Corporation, and shall specify a period within which the Corporation may make any representation with regard thereto. (2) After the expiry of such period and on consideration of the representation of the Corporation, if any, the State Government may at any time by notification cancel or modify such regulation or bye-law either wholly or in part. (3) Any notification under sub-section (2) shall be published in local newspapers.
