For Schedule TV, the lollowing Schedule shall be subslituted, namely:- "SCHEDULE TV (Sre secrjons 37 and 38.) Additional Powers with which State Magislratcs may be invcstcd. Powers with which JudiciaI Magistrates may bc invcstcd by the State Govcmment in consultation with the High Court. I.--Powers wirh which a Judicial Magistr~te of ihc first class may be invested. (1) Power to ny juvenile orfenders, section 79B. (2) Power to issue process for person within local jurisdiction, who has commilted an offence outside the local jurisdiction, secrion 186. (3) Power to lakc cognizance of offences upon complaint, seclion 190(I)(a). (4) Power lo lake cognizance of offences upon police repofis, secuon 190(I)(b). (5) Power ro rake cognizance OF offenccs withou~ complaint, secrion 190(l)(c). (6) Powcr lo 11-y summarily, section 260. (7) Power 10 sell propenies alleged or suspected to have been stolen, sec~ion 524. (8) Power to ~ry cases under section 124A of the Indian Penal Code.
