The West Bengal Sepa cat ion of Judicial and gal Ord.. Executive Functions Orainance, 1968, is hereby repealed. nanee VII R01388L of 1968. (4) Where, before the commencement of this Act any power was exercisable under the Code of Criminal Pro- cedure by any Magistrate to make any alteration in any order made in a proceeding thereunder and the jurisdiction in respect of such proceeding conies to be vested, after - such commencement, in a magistrate specified in clause (1) of section 3, such power shall, after such commencement, be exercised by such Magisrtate in accordance with the provi- sions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, as amended by this Act.
