For sub-section (2) of section 524, the following sub- section shall be substituted, namely:— "(2) In the case of every order passed under this section by a Magistrate, other than the Presidency Magis- trate, an appeal shall lie to- the Sessions Judge and in the case of an order passed by a Presidency Magistrate an appeal shall lie to the High Court.".
